JFC! Low temps in the 40s before Thanksgiving? In Florida?????

So today is one of those 10/10 ice blue skies and 100% sun, 56 and no humidity at all. If you’re outside it’s nice but that dry wind is the killer. It’s so cold it goes right through you.
Our problem in Florida is that two days ago it was 82 and this morning it was 42 with strong winds.
At least I get to pull out a sweatshirt and long pants. And turn on the heat. 🥶

Climate temps are measured on the the average. Today we're REALLY below average. And the cold is supposed to stick around for a week.

That's not normal for fall cold fronts in Florida. It usually gets chilly for a day or two and then get right back to warm weather.

But whatever. Take that truth as you wish.
Enjoy the great football weather Trad.

Sad Saturday Night GIF by IFC

I have a system, which is a line from Splash uttered by John Candy. 7-8 beers, take a pee as we depart the tail gate. Pee at Kinnick, and get into my seat by Back In Black. Hopefully stay there until halftime for a super big pee.
I'm there to cheer on the Hawks, not shuffling back and forth to the bathroom.

Lows in the mid 50s here. Which isn't bad but I've got a music festival next weekend here in Long Beach and I remember it being much warmer last year at this time. Late night was still bro tank weather.

What's different about this cold front is how entrenched it is. Sometimes we don't even see the first real cold front until December, and they usually don't stick around long. Maybe two cold nights and then it's in the 80s again.

This one is slooooow to warm up. more like what we see in January.

FUNFACT: Jetstream "blocking" patterns are a clear sign of climate warming. As the poles warm, the gradient that drives a straighter jetstream weakens, leading to waviness and "blocking" effects, which lock weather systems into position. This produces prolonged drought in some areas, and unusually heavy prolonged rainfall in others. Does the same w/ cold/warm weather patterns.

And you were able to experience an "entrenched" weather pattern due to climate warming here...

Nope, it must be something else. Too entrenched in uneducated opinion to believe 97% of the experts.

The next time Trad admits he is wrong will be the first time. 😂

Seriously, dude.... belief in "human-caused" climate change has become almost like a religious belief. And any expert who doesn't bow down to the "doctrine" will never get anything published. It's a non-starter.

Keep proving my point.

I was wrong when I believed the Covid vaccine would "stop the spread."

My job required me to parrot the line that if you get the shot, "you won't get it and you won't spread it."

That was a lie, and it damaged my credibility with the rank-and-file employees.
