I’ve learned to temper any expectations of any quarterback we bring in. Even if Manning transferred in.
What I said was in response that Iowa seldom has above average QBs.
No one disagrees about the end game.
Go take a look a Bryce Underwood's film. The ball gets to his receivers significantly faster and his long balls are traveling a good 20 yards further than anything on that kids reel. There is a reason Underwood is the #1 ranked QB in 2025...his arm is actually elite.
P.S. before you ask...no Underwood is not going to Michigan...looks like LSU...so no I'm not "pimping our guy"...if you'd like to watch the guy committed to Michigan feel free to do that too...his mechanics are a mess but his fastball is elite...when you are done watching both those guys you can come back and apologize

So they say "above average?" OK...but you said he has a "rocket launcher"....do you not understand the difference? Only a true dumbbutt thinks above average and elite (aka "rocket launcher) are the same thing...
Sullivan's arm is average strength for a D1 recruit, Ellobo is correct in that take . He just is, That does not mean Sullivan cannot be a really good QB , He is a Texas Tech style QB and He can run and has decent pocket awareness which are good blocks to build off, He is a developmental QB . He is a solid get .

I think the vast majority of people understand what is meant by the term "rocket launcher"...but we'll put that aside...do we agree he has a slightly above average arm for a D1 QB...maybe just average for a P5? Can we find common ground?

Who are these scouts and have any of them played QB or been a D1 pitcher to know what plus arm strength even is ? Because any Guy whom Themselves has or had a plus arm sees one real easy and He does not have a plus arm , He has about the same arm as Lainez who I would say has an average arm but He mechanically is better and physically more ready to play and absorb hits and runs just as well on tape .
Hes got above average arm strength, that’s obvious from his film and the online scouting reports confirm this. Only you can judge arm strength cuz you throw a mean fastball.
I have been watching film of him for two years...there is a reason he ranked as the #1 recruit in the entire country....sucks he is isn't going to end up at Michigan...just in case you didn't know...I didn't rank your kid as a 3* and Underwood as the top QB...well top player overall...but I can see why they are ranked that way...rankings do not guarantee success (or lack of)...but there are usually reasons why kids are ranked certain ways

To be fair If Iowa had a OC and a QB who both should have been wearing special helmets , You know the kind Michigan perhaps would not have even won that BTCG , Iowa's defense held up very well, that said good luck I have no love for Michigan since Carr left but it is better than SEC , Woke Washington or bow legged hayseeds winning the Natty .
Moore would be better long term , not holding Michigan over a barrel and far less slimy and Moore is a really really good Coach
