My wife loves ID TV.

I catch her watching an episode about a white trash family who's constantly making themselves an irritant to everybody in the neighborhood (who'd just as soon ignore them)... always picking a fight with the people across the street (who have a little better lifestyle). They're oblivious to how stupid they sound, and how obvious it is to everyone else on the street that they're obsessed with the neighbors...for some bizarre reason...inferiority complex... a need to validate their existence...whatever it might be. And some of the shit they say just makes you shake your head in wonder.

They're the only ones who don't see it...and as such, keep repeating the same patterns over and over again...never content enough to raise their own family and be satisfied with what they have and confident in who they are.

You are a sad sort with a major inferiority complex. It has already been confirmed that we got our guy and moved on. Brock himself told our guys it was a "numbers" issue. No amount of spin and butthurt from Clone fans can change that. I have no idea which back will be better. Maybe Iowa had both even and would only take the first. We will never know. But from the kid's own mouth, Iowa cancelled his visit because they no longer had room. Purdue and ND also backed away. ISU may prove to be the smart ones. We will see.

I am over my disappointment about Brock not coming. Goodson looks like the real deal and seems like a great kid. Sargent looks like an inside mauler with good hands. But . . .
Brock is NOT a Big12 RB. His team runs single wing/wing T. Older school than KF old school. The Big 12 is almost exclusively RPO/spread. And Big 12 defenses don't suck because their players are slow. Their DBs/LBs are as fast or maybe faster than B1G players because they emphasize athleticism and quickness. The 4-2-5 is becoming the defense of choice in their conference because of the predominance of spread offenses.
I am sure Iowa is going to be fine without Brock. ISU should be very happy to have him. Lets see if they can keep him until December.
