In my opinion he is the reason for the resurgence of this hawk team as of late. No one in the BIG has been playing better and he has been absolutely money from three with one of the purest strokes in the country. He has gotten a lot of flack for disappearing at times in the past but hopefully those times are behind him. Keep up the good work Joe W!!

I’ll say this, if Iowa somehow wins out, and Joe W keeps playing like he is, he has a very good chance to be a 1st team all Big 10 guy. And if he plays well through March Madness, and the team goes on a nice run, he’s going to have set himself up to make some good money. Whole lot of ifs, but I’m hopeful.

Luka was never not Luka. I think he got fatigued a bit and had a couple rough shooting games, but his hustle never wavered. He got 30 against Wisconsin because they tried to guard him 1-1 and he dominated. His confidence grows fast. If he hits a couple shots in a row, goes to heat-check mode fast.

The entire team had their heads on swivels all night. Bohannon was very good defensively last night, he was impressive without shooting well.

Weezy’s jumper has been incredible the last 5-6 games, but I can’t believe how aggressive he has been on the boards and solid his defense has been!

As mentioned above, his rebounding has been more impressive than the scoring.

All that being said, I want to see him play at this level against the big boys on the road. If he can do that then I’m going to get excited.

What a 5 game run for Weezy! 19.8ppg, 8.6rpg, 35-62 (56.5%) from the field and 22-35 (62.9%) from behind the arc which equates to 94.4% in the 3 to 2 conversion. While he won’t be 1st team All B10 he should have locked up 2nd team.

I think C.J may be a key as well. He has another game to shake off the rust before Michigan. He can put up 20 easy and is decent on the drive. He can take a little pressure off depending on weezy to continue playing like a first round pick

His strength this season is noticeably better and his off season conditioning is paying off

CJF still isn’t moving like he has when healthy but he made some great passes against Whisky and MSU

As well as Joe has been playing, I don't see anyway he is voted onto the First Team All-B1G team. If he had been playing at his current pace from the very beginning, maybe, but there are just too many great players in the B1G. Almost every team has a player, sometimes two, that have similar or better numbers than Joe. I will be disappointed if he isn't on the second team, however.
