Could Jones use a sixth year of eligibility as a grad transfer at another school?

I am sure he could.

I am curious, if he graduated, how many graduate classes must be take to play basketball? Full time student? One class?

I had a similar thought about BE. After this season he'll have 3 years at Iowa, if he graduated could he do a grad transfer and have 2 years of eligibility left?

Note - I'm not suggesting I want him to leave or that he should leave, this is merely a hypothetical and was wondering if he did, in fact grad transfer, could he have 2 years left.

Yes there are Grad Transfers that have 2 years eligibilty out there.

I don't think Jones would have a reason to leave. With his 3-point shooting and rebounding, why would he or any fan want him to leave. I assume the OP thinks he should.

I don't want him to leave. I was just thinking about possible moves to free up a scholarship.

I assume that by your sixth year, you should have graduated and if not, your possible lack of academic progress might prevent you from participating
