I named Walsh and 3 others in the "under-appreciated players" thread earlier this week. Rock solid. Good to see people are noticing.

Does he seem bigger this year? I don't know if he weighs any more or not, but he looks bigger to me (from watching on tv).

I agree...Walsh has got to be 300lbs. He's as big as Blythe. James Daniels also looks bigger than 288. I loved the last touchdown that Canzeri scored against Pitt. There is shot of Daniels pushing a guys around in the endzone. He was finishing. He's going to be really freaking good.

I'm happy for Walsh. He came in as highly prized recruit, that was bit by the injury bug a few times. I think playing beside Blythe for another year helps. Also the healthy competition Daniels brings has to help too.

I would like to place a gentleman's bet on this. Just like in my thread, i say JD will be either a guard or tackle and they will slide someone less talented into the center role. he is too talented physicallynot to IMO

Depending on how the guys redshirting progress, I'd have to imagine Steve Ferentz is in the mix for starting time neXT year. If so I think Steve will be the center and daniels will be a guard.
