Nice work from the supporting cast. It's the Luka show, but this is absolutely what the rest of the guys need to contribute for the team to succeed.

Hoping CJF makes it back. Get him back in the starting lineup with RK, BE and CP coming off the bench could make for a nice stretch run.

Which is why it's stupid to rag on individual players. Bakari and Pemsl gave big minutes off the bench.

Joe T played under control and shot well. No freshman fade for him.

Role players stepped up tonight. Great team win.
Joe T played like a freshman. 3 assists, but 3 TOs and a couple more boneheaded plays. I think he will grow into a better player, hopefully by next year, by learning to play with pace instead of going full speed all the time. He could be a killer offensive player if he learns that.

Yes, I agree. There's a fine line between Ronnie Lester and Kevin Smith. The point is he is still competing. Freshmen mistakes are to be expected.

Also had 9 points, 3 rebounds and a steal. 2/2 from 3.

Joe T plays great D, hustles like crazy, and tonight he hit some huge 3s early. Iowa doesn't win without his contributions.

Absolutely agree that Evelyn, Kreiner, and Pemsl were terrific for the second straight game.

This team is feelin' it, and winning @ East Lansing would be, well, awesome.

He played like a freshman in the second half, but the first eight minutes or so he was a force. He was probably the biggest reason Iowa shot out to a double digit lead, hitting big shots, forcing turnovers, and just hounding Ohio State's perimeter players. Pure energy to start the game. Once he gets enough experience and is able to play that way for a whole game, maybe next year, look out for Joe T.!!!

This was a complete team win. Except for rebounding and foul shooting, and maybe Weesy's outside shot, which will be back, a great game on both ends.

I thought Pemsl did a great job keeping Ohio State off the boards when he was in the game the first half. Late first half/second half, Ohio State was tough on the glass, but that's a big part of their game. Luka's rebounds were down, but Pemsl was gobbling them up when he was on the court.

It will be a lot of fun to watch Joe T and Ulis at the point the next several years. JBo can play off the ball next season and do what he does best...
