Juan Harris-Decommits yet again

He's going to go to a D1 school. Any kid that goes to a D1 school I'd be on them playing a snap of football there regardless of their situation. Sometimes a change of scenery is just what a kid like him needs too. He may never play D1 but I'd bet on him doing it
My opinion, not gonna play a down of D1 football ever! I hope I'm wrong because would love to have him grow and mature and succeed in college/life. But this is the poster child for D1 football washout.

Lovie is used to dealing with prima donnas. They should be a good fit. He doesn't seem to be the kind of gut that would do well in Doyles weight room.
I'm hoping your joking, I think Lovie has coached a couple of good football players in his day.

I agree that this kid will not see any significant playing time at a major D1 school. He is going to be one of those guys that just shows up and doesn't want to put in the work. My guess is he will be close to 380 lbs and will just keep getting bigger as time goes on.

Harris's decommittments have apparently become a story beyond the state of Iowa. I turned on local sports talk radio in Portland and was surprised to hear them spend 20 minutes talking about Juan Harris and his on again off again relationship with the Hawks

I assume Coy Kirkpatrick is gonna be a DT as well as Lattimore, Add Schulte and even McKnight a nd this a non-issue anyways. Coach Morgan, Doyle, and Coach Parker won't lose any sleep. All is well. Next!!

I agree I see Lattimore as a DT also and we have enough DE from 16' class that I am more than sure we are going to have a few that are going to move to DT we don't need Harris but he was a quick moving big kid would have been nice but it is what itis... Wish him all the best he is a polite good kid just doesn't know what he wants. I hope he gets it together and picks a place stays with it and goes great.

The recruiting process is not always an easy one for the boys I know it is hard and it really does take a while before you "know" where your fit is. That first school always feels the best until you get to the next one, and the next one but you loved this about the other one... it is hard but they have to just weigh all of the options and make that decision. I think there is a lot more pressure for the boys these days unless they are flat out super stars to commit early in order to secure a spot most kids commit before they even can take the officials now a days. Back in the day it used to be you went on the officials then you made your choice but now unless you are very highly sought after you have to pick before or sometimes you are at risk to loose that open spot. A great problem to have picking the school you want to go to but none the less it is not as easy and glamorous as it may seem and not all of the boys mature at the same level.
