Remember, Iowa had a special group that had played together and had great chemistry. Not always the case when you have a superstar. A lot of things can go wrong when you factor in, stardom, expectations, off the court obligations. Iowa set the bar pretty high with all of that and a lot of individuals found success. Can it be duplicated for 4 years somewhere else? I don't think you set that kind of record by yourself, without a supporting cast that buys in and ignores the distractions of playing in huge market.

Adding more to this is that I don't think the scoring record can be done at schools like UCONN, South Carolina, USC, etc. All the starters are superstars. Points will need to be spread out. You will need a superstar like CC to go to a top 15-25 ranked school and have the whole offense go through that one person.

(1) Will JuJu get her 4 yr average over 28 ppg (like CC eventually did)
(2) Will JuJu average 35 games/season like CC eventually did?

Caitlin never missed a game to injury. She lost games her first 2 years to covid, however.

Crazy how a lot of the top scorers ended their careers playing 139 games.

See What? She doesn't even have the option to enter the WNBA unless she's is 4 years out of high school, or 22 in January of that year, which she will be neither. We've been talking about this all through Clarks last season. They CAN'T leave early unless they go to Europe......
