It’s interesting that Cons couldn’t care less about judges being bought by benefactors or who make open political displays and then lie about it. Shouldn’t judges, especially SCOTUS be held to a higher standard?

Actually, lying about the facts surrounding his excuse for not recusing should be grounds for impeachment and dismissal.
There is a single, solitary reason he would lie about the timing here - he absolutely flew the flag as a position of solidarity with insurrectionists. There's simply no place where that is acceptable for any judge.

You'd think at some point the other SC justices would have a shred of embarrassment over this.
You'd think that Biden, with his newly acquired "absolute immunity" powers would just get it over with and assassinate the guy and his family.... 🙄
