Kaleb Brown...he gone (probably)

Love the social media idiots claiming this is KFs fault. Dude got an OWI and (assuming) hasn't worked his way out of the doghouse with working hard in practice. If people can't see the offense is significantly better and we actually have a resemblance of a passing game when the QB has time, I don't know what to tell you.

(Unless this actually all is injury related)

Iowa is currently ranked 127th out of 133 teams in passing offense.
Only 5 teams (In the Country) have fewer touchdown passes than Iowa.

Our passing game is not better.

Please explain. 127 out of 133.

Another example of how the portal is not going to be the elixir for this program.
It giveth and it taketh. Leading receiver last year was from portal, and current leader too. #2 leading tackler as well. We’ve made good use of it, and I don’t know that anyone seriously expects us to create a whole new team out of it. We’re still a developmental program. So it’s great for filling gaps and depth.

I have watched him and when he should be serious he isn't. My observations during games in Kinnick this season. He either doesn't care or he just doesn't get it or feels somehow entitled.
If it’s an ego issue, guess what, many great players have huge egos. Great coaches know how to work with big egos. I suspect this has been another blind spot in Kirk’s tool bag. It may work out in the long term but you lose some really good players along the way if you can’t figure out how to reach them.

Hey, c'mon man. Maybe this is the week we finally get our first TD pass and 100-yard passing effort against a P4 opponent.

Anyone who thinks these two things should've happened before October 12 just doesn't know football.

WTF are you talking about? This passing offense is an unmitigated disaster.

I would say as far as the portal goes, iowa would be better off focusing on lower division or non-P5 kids that werent big hs recruits that have actually been productive and want a chance to prove it at the P5/B10 level, vs guys from bigger schools that had a bigger recruiting profile but have never really done anything at the big level (or have questionable health lol).

Yeah I have seen Saban absolutely screaming at players during games.

And yeah Ohio State and Ryan Day just couldn't reach him either I guess.

If anyone ever watched this dude last year they'd know he's our best WR and it's not even close
First, that isnt saying much.
Second, not sure how anyone could say for certain who our best wr was last year based on how terrible our offense, especially passing game,.was.
