Kinnick Damage

Know someone who works part-time as a student at Iowa in the marketing dept. and they made a trip over to Kinnick for something today.

He saw the field and says it doesn't look terrible except for what looks like a huge pile of mud now in the north end zone.

They were told that there was people being flown in on sort of an "emergency" basis to help contend with the turf.

Before all this though he said they were not allowed to take any pictures whatsoever.

I wasn't there to see it. Only repeating what he said. He's not a "turf expert" any more than any of us here are. I didn't ask him how huge the pile of mud was.

I'm guessing it will be resolved by Saturday's kickoff.
