Kirk says "How do you like me now? MF'ers!!!

Doubt it. This "offense" with these players and coach has been a thing for less than 1/2 season......maybe just maybe it isnt KF holding it back rather it really does take timing and snaps and practice. This idea that KF is micro managing the offense is laughable.
Then explain why the TE coach was given a book and told "this is what our TEs do, make it work".

The amount of hate for Kirk on here is incredible. It's like he's sleeping with all of your wives & they're telling you all about the dirty details on how he's more satisfying than you.

F&cking angry no life losers.
It's really unbelievable.

The two narratives this season are that Kirk should be fired and Cade should be benched.

This board should be ashamed of itself this season

That is a really bad take. If he only had the same winning percentage he's had at Iowa, he'd have been canned at a handful of blue blood schools, but a vast majority of power 5 schools would give anything to have had the success he's had at Iowa.
Agree to disagree. No titles in 20 years...yeah he would have been canned. Iowa is far more patient than most.

So why do you say this? They're the number 9 ranked team today and haven't lost a game. Now tell us why Iowa should have beaten them easily? It's silly.
Saying should of beating them easily is wrong. More like they did everything they could to give the game to the Cyclones is a better response. If just one of 5 plays goes a different way Iowa wins. Credit does go to ISU for taking advantage of the opportunities given to them.

Yes we should have been up 21-0 in 1st half. Over at halftime.

Cause we’re content with 8 wins and remembering the 2002-2004/2009 seasons as the pinnacle of Iowa athletics.

Iowa fans keep hoping Kirk can get us one more shot at a special season but there’s just no evidence or trend to suggest it’ll happen.

If the scores weren’t 127-7 against the top teams MAYBE you could say we’re close. We’re not cause Kirk won’t let the offense be good. Only be balanced and punt

I would bet Chishawk142's left nut that if we play ISU at home next week we win.
ISU has a pretty good team and when we played our O was still very very unsettled.

How many points did we score against the number 9 team this year? 19 I believe.

Scored 19 against “9” team in country and lost

Also nice to acknowledge ISU is one of the top programs that Iowa now needs to compete with

" Little brother" is currently in the Top 10 in football, MBB, and WBB. How is Iowa doing?
Basketball started already?
ISU football season is a mirage. Iowa has proved to be a poor team and ISU needed a miracle FG kick to win the game. ISU schedule thus far is beyond bad. ISU would be no better than 6-6 in the SEC. BIG and SEC are going to regret loading up their conferences. Teams like Alabama will sit out the playoffs while Big 12 teams like ISU and BYU are skating along, undefeated.

Stupid to say easily but they absolutely should have beaten them and the clowns are Top 10 due to schedule and a win over an over ranked Iowa team.

This is right up there w/@LukaDuka saying stats are for losers. Stats were pretty telling in this game. 32 first downs for Sparty. Difference in the game vs Washington is we forced some turnovers but still gave up a ton of yards. At some point Phil has got to realize he's now facing some QB's that aren't going to just give us the game. You've got to get your defense off the field once in awhile and possibly blitz the QB.

That works vs an easy schedule ... but times have changed. Sparty isn't good but have a real coach that knows offense. Hawk D was awful and easy pickings vs Broehm at Purdue even with their modest talent ... now Iowa will be facing 6 or more of those types a year. It is going to get ugly.

The mere fact lil bro can come on here and legitimately talk smack underscores just how far we've fallen.

If that doesn't justify time for a change nothing will.
Well ISU actually has Iowa recruits that can actually play D1 football ... not sure if those Iowa guys for the Hawks are recruited or walk ons. They look and play like a bunch of walk ons.

B B B... blitz?!?! No offense, but this is Iowa.

LOL, he'd have won multiple national titles if he was at Michigan, OSU, PSU, Georgia, Texas, Oklahoma, USC, Oregon. Look at what he's accomplished at lil ol Iowa, land of 2 & 3 star players with a population of 3 million.

Go back across the Missouri River & clap for Nebby, fool.
“lil ol Iowa.” And you’re just showing that you’re part of the problem with that comment. People, especially those that bring up the 1970’s (that was 50 years ago btw), act like we could never get a coach like him again and are terrified of leaving 8-5 (mostly bc we hid in the B1G West for years) and slightly better than .500 vs ISU. Too many in our fanbase love celebrating mediocrity and say he should be able to retire when he wants to. No coach should be at any school for 25 years unless they’re winning national titles. Btw, you have no idea how he’d do at those other schools. He’s a coward to go for it, so chances are if it came down to a play, he’d punt to lose those “national titles.”

How many of those wins vs teams > .500 win %?
Probably the same as most coaches. Lots of teams go. .500 Or less. Little Debbie comes to mind. Seven years in a row. BTW, beating teams contribute to that losing percentage.

KF pulled out his tried & true (to him) "How do you like me now, MFers!!!??" with that @MSU disaster this past Saturday night.
