I might have missed this but I thought ththeththey kneeled before the anthem, assuming that is the case I'm ok with it.
Love the Olympics and America. I’m rooting against any American that takes attention away from the competition to blast their political bs.

I find it strange how anti-freedom the claimed "freedom loving crowd" seems to be anymore. They don't want US citizens to be able to control their own bodies and what they put into it, they don't think people should be able to publicly display decent against their flag/govt bodies (unless that govt happens to be in the US Capitol or are cheering for the "other team"...btw team politics has gotten really stupid lately) and they don't want people to be able to express love towards other via marriage if they happen to be of the same sex.

Just to be clear I don't think this is from the Olympics. The team did not kneel during the national anthem prior to the match against Sweden. They did kneel prior to kick-off after anthems were over.

No one is disrespecting the "flag!" Kneeling is one of the most reverent, benevolent gestures that humans are known to do.
Regardless, I love it when people display their liberties and their civil disobedience , or discontent, in a benevolent way. If America means ANYTHING, it means the ability to exhibit your dislike for the status quo- to demand correction without being prosecuted by the state.
