I agree that time will tell. But I really liked what we saw down the stretch last year from Tony Perkins. We can talk about the effect of moving Bohannon back to the point, but Perkins did a lot of ball-handling, distributing, and breaking down the defense. Over the last 10 games, he averaged 10.8 points, 4 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game.
I think that we could see a fair amount of Perkins operating as the point so as to get our most talented scorers (Perkins, Sandfort, Kris, and PMac) on the floor at the same time.
Certainly we will miss, in Keegan and Jordan, players who attempted roughly 400 3 pointers last year and made over 150 of those. But I think that there are enough shooters on the roster to stretch the floor. Kris helps stretch defenses all by himself by being able to shoot over the top of defenders at the arc.
