this what I hate about cfball and hype. Everyone has pretty much given Lamar Jackson the heisman. But then when he plays a quality team, he is exposed. He is arguing with coaches, with officials.

While I agree about playing quality teams before handing a guy the heisman...something has been going on in the piles all game. When Jackson freaked out a clemson defender was wrapping his neck for an extended period of time. That would piss me off too

He got choked out...I'd be PISSED TOO!
Hard for your receivers to do much when the others team is allowed to grab and pull them up and down the field.....

He was right to be pissed. He hasn't been awarded jack yet. Lot of season to be played.

Louisville/Clemson was one of the best games I've watched this year. Lamar Jackson is a freak, and would have led his team to a win over Clemson had his receiver not been a complete idiot.

We're 5 games in and I'm ready to award Jackson the Heisman.

Yeah he was exposed alright.. Exposed as being one of the best college football players this year.. Extended plays all night and had his team in a position to win a huge game in the road.. He was very much exposed for all the right reasons..

Jackson made even more of a case that he should be the Heisman winner tonight. Played a brilliant second half and if his WR wasn't an idiot, L'ville scores and wins the game.

Remember, he's still just a freshman, on the road, in a very tough environment, against a very talented Clemson team who were extremely pumped up. Jackson faced a ton of adversity being down 18 and then came out swinging. I like him a lot as a player.

He's a sophomore and I wish we had some players at iowa that had half his athletic ability and skill but of course KF would have to let them see the field first..

Not arguing with you that he has it right now, but last year at this time fournette was an absolute lock as well

My bad, true sophomore. Was thinking he was a redshirt frosh. Same age. Last year was his first year of college ball. He's a bad ass.

Lamar is everything you want in QB in today's game... Great decision maker, feels the pocket as well as I've seen, keeps plays alive with his elusiveness, and just the epitome of a playmaker. The kid made a great decision going to a program that puts talent on the field, to let talent do what it does, win. There was an incredible amount of athleticism on the field tonight on both sides. Really impressed with both teams.

Fournette didn't face a respectable defense until his ninth (9th!) game when he got shut down by Alabama. Louisville has already faced a (likely) playoff bound Clemson team and he still put up ridiculous stats and made ridiculous plays.

While FSU is clearly overrated, L-Ville still hung 60 on them. I realize that guys like Jackson come along very rarely, but it would be nice to get a playmaker like that on the Hawks. There were times last year when CJ was that guy, but still nothing close to what Jackson is doing.

He had 450 total yds 3 TDs and had his team in the lead with just over 3 mins to go at Clemson. He should still be the front runner for Heisman.

The sad thing is if he was at Iowa, he would be on the bench right now. Lol.

Yea, I agree, Iowa would not want a guy that can put 457 yards of offense against the number 4 team in the country. He was certainly exposed as a poser. Boulware was choking and twisting his neck and he had the audacity to get upset, how dare him.

So you didn't bother to come back and apologize for this hilarious post?
