Land Of The Free?

I'm not sure the oligarchy problem is socialism's main target, capitalism's either I would point out. Participation in the system solves the oligarchy problem To that end socialism gets more people with skin in the game and socializing campaigns mean the candidates work for the taxpayer rather than the oligarchs. All around, socialism certainly does more to address your concerns than capitalism ever will. But a little utilitarianism is what we really need, just ask Australia.
We've had more participation in the system, than in any point in our history. This is due to it being easier to participate, social media and such, and the fact that the system has mutated into being involved in EVERYTHING.

It HAS NOT done a good job of our issues with the Oligarchies, as the Oligarchies continue to grow as does the wealth gap in this country and around the world. The system was created to keep those Oligarchies propped up and to make you just happy enough with them that you won't tear them down part by part.(you are a great example of that happy enough type of person).

Darwin is not impressed with the evolution of the common American. Particularly the unreachable minds of the left vs. right zombie brigade that continues to eat its own brains.

That isn't true. Do you even google these pronouncements before you make them?

There are more ways to participate in the system than simply voting, and due to population rates, despite the percentage, there have been more voters. Obamas elections brought record numbers of actual voters as example.

The downward trend in percentage is likely do to the disenchantment of the sane, because they tire of the socialism. If you want a system, where you spend more time doing meaningless things, rather than doing things that actually matter, than socialism is your way.

Capitalists aren't interested in the mundane, they want results and efficiency. Socialism is lazy, unmotivated and boring.

Go to a government building someday, and see how most of the workers look like they are auditioning for the walking dead. They hate life, because they are deep in the belly of the system.

The Capitalists are MUCH happier, because their work is actually leads somewhere.

Take NASA for example, will socialism prop it back up someday? Or is Capitalism more likely to do it?

Theft of others labors is hardly the definition of freedom. To say so shows you to be even more ignorant as you come off in most of your other posts.

"theft of others labors..."

You mean like a hedge fund manager buying a stake in a successful, well-run company, lobbying to install his cronies to the board then proceeding to load the company up with debt, fire a sizable percentage of the workers in the company and then taking the "proceeds" as capital gains, bankrupting the formerly successful company in the process and THEN paying a lesser tax rate then the now former pay-rolled employees. That kind of "theft of others labors"?
