A win in Ky( only the second in a long while) both the governor and his lieutenant are tea party favorites( it was according to the polls a nail biter but it turned out to be a blow out,) In Va they held control of the House of Commons ( even after the cheater McAuliffe put a lot of political capital in the race)

Nothing real surprising. I guess KY was a bit of a surprise. But its not exactly a progressive state
A republican has had the governors office four years out the last forty. In addition Bevin was just not a very good candidate. The thing he did right was his entire campaign was running against ACA. ACA will be in even worse shape in a year. We will see whether this election is predictive or not

Saw it on John Oliver's show today (sorry I was a little late in watching it)

Truely disappointing, guess Kentucky doesn't want to encourage their working poor to keep working. They are more interested in spiting Obama then ensuring that their working poor can see the doctor.

I'm glad that even though my governor is a Republican and probably opposed to the ACA that he took the medicaid expansion.

Nice to see someone continue the democratic fear propaganda.

When you are refusing money handed to you by someone else to help your working poor see doctors then you are doing it for no other reason then to spite the president.

Either that or you are just sadistic.
