LED backlighting question

Having some work done on the house and we put in LED colored lights under some counters and cabinets, and it looks awesome. We also had some of it run into a little wine rack cubby under the stairs, but for now it is simply an exposed LED strip . It is already on the wall and I do not want to mess with it, but I want the light to be indirect. I was thinking about attaching a u channel on its side right next to the strip to create the light barrier, but I was thinking there might be a more elegant solution the geniuses of HOBT could offer. Any ideas?

Wood trim like a piece of door stop or molding of some kind. Most cabinet companies make matching trims if they're not too old and you know the brand, color, etc...
