Legit/real or not, WH tweet leaks are fantastic entertainment...

Read through these two threads, just posting the initial tweet as both threads are huge.

"Main risk factor for IC admission with COVID-19 is obesity; main co-morbidity is obesity"

America is f***ed.

One of the things I was reading about Italy was how they determined who to treat and who not to with their limited resources. One of the main determinants is a BMI >25. If they are above that, they do little treatment.

No one in this administration knows what they're talking about, do they? Oh for those long lost days with Mattis and Kelly

Let's see, Cuomo has been one of the 3-4 governors trying to get ahead of this, but yeah, let's single him out

So....Trump classified something they intended to use at trial, which is now no longer available, weakening the case? Is that the crux here?

That's pretty sad, GOP.

Do It
New thread.

Too many MAGA idiots have me on ignore, and may never see this otherwise.

They'll just say "Disgruntled former Obama staffer sticking up for his boss".

Completely ignoring the fact that anyone that has done any kind of disaster response training (I've done a LOT of training in that) knows how bad Trump's administration has screwed this up.

EVERY new administration goes thru these exercises, so they can LEARN from the prior admin's experience! It's not even a POLITICAL THING!!!

Agreed. I spent 3 1/2 years in a Civil Support Team/Weapons of Mass Destruction (CST/WMD). We trained to respond to CBRN (that B stands for biological) incidents involving unknown agents. Now, our job ended once the agent was identified, but, a BIG part of our job was advising on precautions and actions to minimize civilian casualties.

We did a LOT of preplanning with state and federal agencies before major, large scale events, such as the State Fair. Now, I can only tell what I've read about Covid-19 and nothing else. However, I can list off a bunch of actions you take immediately in the event of a biological incident, and a lot of follow on actions if the initial actions don't work or aren't enough.

Pretty much everything that a couple of cities/states are taking, and are similar to what Korea/Italy/China/Spain have done are standard. Meaning, anyone worth a crap would have brought them up as soon as CV looked like an issue.
