Young is a 1x state champ and has now produced 3 All-American finishes with another possible this year. Not sure your definition of “disappointment” but I’d say neither are too disappointing to the logical and knowledgeable fan.

I agree and I support Kaleb as he has given a ton for this team. I will say though that he has not looked great this year and has a lot of work to do between now and March if he wants to see the podium.

I believe Austin Gomez visited Iowa. I doubt hes an upgrade over Murin, but he beat Zach Sherman from UNC. Murin will be alright

yes he’s looked pretty good so far the only real answer to my question. but at the same time he hadn’t wrestled in 2 years and was coming out of medical retirement. you can understand why the staff was comfortable with murin.
