Tough losses at 125 and 174. Great wins at 133, 149, 184 & 197. I see Clark beating Richards in a revenge match. I don't think Sorenson can beat Retherford. I see Cooper possibly finishing third as well as Meyer. Brooks wins it at 184. McIntosh wins at 197. Penn State wins it all with the Hawks taking second over Nebraska. Go Hawks!!!

This is not over. I can see all PSU wrestlers losing in the finals. It is very possible. Clark, Sorenson and Burak can easily win it all. Keep the faith!!!
I haven't done the math, but I can't imagine we come close to PSU. If Gilman had finished his takedown, it would be a different story. I'm all for positive thinking, but for all practical purposes, I have to think this one's over where the team title is concerned.
If we ran the table in the finals, it could get interesting, but that's a huge stretch. Would make my day to see Brandon win it. I doubt Retherford has faced a guy with defense as good as his. However, I think Retherford is in a league of his own this year.
Same goes for Nolf. I think like he's a legit threat to go undefeated for his career, and I think he majors IMar or worse. Kid is absolutely phenomenal.

Retherford and Nolf are extremely tough this year but far from invincible. Anyone can be beaten on any given day. I can think of a few former Hawkeyes who were performing as dominant as these two in the past who were knocked off. The Hawkeyes are building for nationals.

I get the cynicism. But, seriously, it can happen. Nico and Guilibon are underdogs. I don't think either of them win. Brandon and Burak beating Zane and Mac is completely possible. Nickal almost lost to the Illinois kid in the dual. IMAR has only lost one match in his career. It is not over.
The only thing we can hope for now is that Clark, Sorensen, Brooks, and Burak all came to wrestle in the finals..
Gilman bonus for 3rd. Cooper give Murphy hell and get 3rd. Meyer get 5th please.. Stollhouse do what you can if you even wrestle in 7th place match.. oh and Rhoads beating Morelli for 7th could help.
