I don't think you know what white priv is..... The definition of privilege is advantage . In the US being white is an advantage to being black its that simple. The fact your coach yelled and screamed and called you names just means you had a tool as a coach has nothing to do with white priv and you are confusing a dick coach to racism. see you got to go home after practice and get away from said dick head coach but a lot of blacks kids leave practice then have to face racism on the way home and in school etc.....You need to open your heart and think what that would be like.... No way in hell I would want to be black instead of white. Would you?
I'm a little confused here - my comment about JFK having many beliefs that would have fit just fine in the current GOP are simply that. Pretty confident that a staunch Irish Catholic boy may have a had a certain belief about, let's say abortion, is not all that out of the box thinking. The problem with WP isn't its assumptions about racial discrimination, but its casual disposition.
You do realize that racism isnt tied to one color - anyone can be racist, even a black. My black friends love being black and wouldn't change it - they proclaim that WP is a hoax and a load of BS for those that are too weak to do something about their situation. One of my best Army buddies grew up in S Chicago, he now owns his own business in KS. Another of my good friends (who is black and was raised by his grandma and aunt) graduated from an inner-city school, went to a major university, owns his own IT business now. We have talked several times about BLM and WP - he denounces both - calls them a false narrative for people that refuse to do better. Why is i when a black is successful the other blacks start calling them uncle tom's and "you just tryin' to fit in ain't ya".
I faced racism from whites on the way home, at practice, in school, in the military, and I am white. I faced troubles with my parents, they chose to stay together through it all (not priv - it was hard work - something some black, white, Asian, Hispanic, don't want to put into a relationship) - not privilege, it was work by my parents.
Why does Candace Owens, Morgan Freeman,Christopher Townsend, and many other black american call BLM and WP a bunch of BS?
My heart is and has been wide open - maybe you need to open your mind and get a myriad of opinions from folks other than your fellow "think-a-likes".
P.S. "White Privilege" the term, is racist (Racism (Noun) - - the belief that all members of each race possess characteristics or abilities specific to that race, especially so as to distinguish it as inferior or superior to another race or races.). Hardships and struggles do not care what color you are and do not only hit POC. You must have missed how I pointed out these were all in Republican states. Democratic cities in democratic states like Los Angeles, New York, San Jose, Anaheim, Honolulu, etc. are among the top ten safest in America per capita.
A) He never addresses what white privilege actually is, even though I think it’s a poor term for it.
B) He’s right about fatherlessness being a driving force for poverty, but he ignores the fact study after study shows a hiring bias. And what is the number one predictor weather two parents stay together? Whether the man can find a full-time job by the time the child is born.
There is a hiring bias. It works against whites. Affirmative Action. Even without that, if 2 equally qualified people apply for the same job and one is of color and the other white, the of colored guy gets hired almost every time. Even quotas and lowered standards for college admissions.

I breifly looked at each one. I was aware of this study already. What you missed in my post was "equally qualified". A graduate from an inner city school will rarely be equally qualified as a graduate from a suburban school. When they see names that are "inner city-like", they think inner city like education. That bias does exist if they are just going off high school degrees. Upon further testing and a list of skills, that stigma of inner city degree is gone.
