1. Yes. They also have the American flag and Christian cross as their official symbols. I am no more enabling them than those who display those symbols.

2. Because I am not racist. I don't display the flag as an intent to offend, but as a source of Southern Pride. I have no doubt that that alone is a large part about what bothers you about it. You don't think I should have Southern pride.

Holy crap dumb argument. That flag represents rebellious states fighting to keep people enslaved. That's what you're proud of? I'm proud to be from the south and I detest that flag. I guess you think I shouldn't have "southern pride".

I'm also gonna take a guess here that I know a little more about black Southerners than you do. I did grow up with them and live amongst them after all.

Then I'll bet I know a LOT more about black southerners than you do. Lived here longer, grew up with them and live amongst them now. Three of the seven houses on my cul-de-sac are owned by the black families living in them. Chris Paul grew up right around the corner from my house and used to ride his bike in our driveway. Not one of them would even dream of flying a Confederate flag from their porch. And I can't imagine trying to explain a reasonable rationale for anyone else doing it that wasn't racist. I can tell you what our judgement would be in discussing such a person.

3. No. I actually was about to change it as I said I would for football season, but you've convinced me it should stay. I may change it to the one I use on Warchant when I can. It's a version with FSU colors.

Leave it up as long as you wish. Understand that your claims to be the "least racist person on this board" will fall on deaf ears.

I've been saying for years there should be rules in congress that prohibit lawmakers from inserting unrelated provisions in bills, especially when they do it mostly for political "gotcha" purposes. That applies to both parties.

Republicans tried to authorize 24 billion dollars of aid to Sandy victims. That's a concrete fact. It's a matter of public record.

I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you're not so galactically stupid that you can't see the difference between no aid and 24 billion dollars of aid.

So the only other plausible explanation is that you're straight up lying.
