I really don't think he has done anything where they have blackmail on him. I think he is being paid to say these things, pure and simple. I bet he's making quite a lot of money from them. I wouldn't be surprised if he declares it on his taxes, although if I had to bet I'd say he has it dumped in offshore accounts where he can keep it hidden.

I think in Tuckmir's case, and this is probably unique to him, is that he isn't being paid as he is already tremendously wealthy from Swanson family inheritance. Maybe he's being paid b/c rich MFs never work for free. This is a slightly informed guess that he isn't being blackmailed. I think he has an affinity with a lot of what Russia represents. It's a white authoritarian state that enriches it's elite class by exploiting at home and plundering abroad. Spend a few nights watching Tuckmir, if you can stomach it, and you will see how many of these ideas repeat in what he wants for this country.
