I listened for about 30 minutes. Basically every caller on there was complaining about the qb. I guess I didn’t think he really played bad. I think they are still mad about the last couple of games. Everyone kept asking what is wrong with the offense. It’s because they can’t consistently run the ball in my opinion.

I also thought it was funny they had heather burnside, a huge suckclone fan on there. And she went to the “if isu and Iowa played now, Iowa state would win” card. They never learn that when they play those soft Big 12 defenses, that is when they win.

I have gravitated towards the Hawkeye show that bollers does on 600 am but was out of range.

Heather, like most ISU fans, just need to rationalize the loss. We showed up and played a hard fought game winning by a point. The scoreboard is the scoreboard. If it should not count, then how will it count when they win?

There’s too much pinpointing Stanley for all of the offensive woes. He’s had a share of the blame at times, but our inability to run the football and keep a clean pocket has nothing to do with him. He makes some incredible throws, especially when he has time in a pocket. He’s just not mobile in terms of his lateral scramble to improvise.

Well said And1. Stanley certainly has a part in the struggles, but not nearly as much as many want to pin on him. I find it hilarious that people keep saying that he's so "below average". Really 7200yds passing and 61 TD's and about a 3-1 ratio to interceptions. He'll end up at least 2nd in Iowa history in most all the QB stats. I guess all the other guys must have been well below average then, huh? And before we go down the , "its only because he's played more then all the others, His first 2 years were better in yds and td's then any other Iowa QB in a two year period, so, no......
