Unreal. But, I had an experience yesterday that totally shocked me. The hate that I heard from some friends of mine was over the top. I can't believe that so called Christians would practice such hate.
Yeah let's pretend society is over prejudice, that will probably make it so if we try hard enough right. Probably just the school closest to the suspect's house right if you had to guess?
Many recent mass shootings have largely hit Jewish communities, and now the communities have had to come to grips with tragedy.

The cop almost got him. Shooter’s in critical condition.
This was local (for me) and a blast went out for MCS- which didn’t help since MCS covers a large area. That school has good security, thankfully.

I was stunned, but they are leaving the UMC. I happen to have a cousin that is a gay minister. I was surprised at their vitriol towards her, but I remained calm and polite. It was at a party.

CBS reported last night the Memphis police said it was apparent antisemitism, there's speculation on Memphis subreddit that suspect is former student (which of course doesn't rule out antisemitism but also makes more likely it was some other personal thing).

Does it matter in this instance though.
Both sides need to hold off on the finger pointing until after they find out who the shooter is and why they were doing it in the first place.
The right wing does it too any time a church is shot, they immediately go to "Must have been a lib angry at religion". Sometimes it is. . . a lot of times it isn't.
I think the left really took the cake when there was a mass shooter who killed a bunch of asians and they immediately went to "Anti-Asian hate". . . then we found out the shooter was Asian himself and just kinda crazy (like most mass shooters)
Just wait a few days to find out who the shooter is and the motive.
That said, I do agree with the left we need gun laws that are going to make this sort of thing harder to do. Because it doesn't matter who's doing it. All people and sides have their crazies and the people that hate other people enough to kill. These people shouldn't find it so easy to get their hands on guns.
I don’t agree with finger-pointing, but I do think it’s perfectly acceptable to describe the ethnicity, sexuality, or religion for historical targets of violence.
We use the term “school shooting” which has connotations for both the victims and the perpetrator.

Well yes that's obviously possible. But a lot of times shooters are people from within a community that just have some sort of personal axe to grind with other members of their own community. That actually happens a lot.
Thank goodness this was stopped and no one was injured. Can't we just stop with the the victims were Jews or blacks or gay or fill-in the blank? Does a Jewish mother mourn more or less than an African American mother or white mother? Stop trying to divide us and agree the real problem is hate, drugs and evil.
Maybe ask the police dispatcher
"We need officers to go to every Jewish facility in the city of Memphis with that broadcast and description in case he tries another facility..."
Take your own advice the next time you decide to write a six sentence paragraph here in which each sentence is a different attack on another group of citizens.
