looking at the receivers room now

Yeah, and some of the taller guys who have played early are converted QBs, like Solomon and McNutt. And even if they do play it doesn't mean they produce. B. Smith saw the field but had no receptions his first season, as was the case with Scott Chandler.
its bad enough that all you do is complain but to lie about players not doing thing just stop Smith had 3 catches and 15 yards as a TRUE FR.
here were the top receiving catchers in 2017
WR Easley walk on from IWCC, had 51 catches for 530 yards which was 1st 4 TD's
TE Fant 30 catches for 494 yards and 11 TD's
WR Vandeberg 28 catches for 384 yards and 2 TD's
RB Wadley 28 catches for 353 yards and 3 TD's
TE Hockenson 24 catches for 320 yards and 3 TD's
WR ISM 18 catches for 187 yards and 2 TD's
Stanley as a 1st year starter had 196 completions 351 attempt 55.8 percent sacked 25 times for -173 yards rating of 135.2 and 26 TD's to just 5 INT's with 2437 yards.

Fant and Hockenson were the tall targets so Branden did not need to put up monster stats as a true FR,

Walk on Easley showed what kind of receiving target that Iowa gets
Dallas Clark was a walk on

To answer OP’s original question … The Swarm guy, Brad Heinrichs, has recently stated that KF and crew are not looking at any additional portal receivers at this time as far as he knows.

How’s that for a hot take?

Faulty memory on my part, and "confirmed" by missing data on ESPN's player profile for Brandon. While I appreciate being corrected regarding his 2017 stats, even though it confirms the general point about tall WRs not contributing early as a general rule, I don't appreciate the character assassination. Presumably, you know the difference between a lie and a mistake. As for always complaining, well, you must have me confused with someone else.

making a mistake is something I am not allowed to make, so join the club

Iowa will never average 75 to 80 plays per game under KF. No matter the improvement we're never going to be a uptempo chuck it down the field team....
They don't have to go faster, they need to keep the ball longer. More first downs. Last year we averaged 59 offensive plays per game. Four more first downs per game gets us to 75 offensive plays. I opine last year's team left far more than 4 first downs on the field in almost every game.

Yep. I am a Deplorable, probably an irremediable one. That's what Hillary Clinton thinks and well all know her history of honesty and probative thinking. So I embrace it.

The Sleeping Dog evokes don't wake me up to bite you. A metaphor for don't get personally shitty with me while talking sports. The avatar is the image of what happens to people that do, in fact, get shitty and personal.

Plus I keep various breeds of bulldogs. Like litle Bossies. Most people don't know that Boston Terriers and marginally terrier and really just the smallest member of the mastiff family. My late and sainted Otto looked just like his English cousin Spencer. Almost as big and very flat face and big jaw muscles.

Plus my nickname is Teddy the Bulldog. Cuz I'm utterly loyal, brave and willful.
