Iowa's next opponent (MN) has a pretty stout LB unit and, overall, their defense isn't too shabby but 20+ points should be enough to win this game. Gopher offense has been hit hard with injuries at RB and their true frosh QB should get plenty of pressure. First impression, Iowa 27-30 points vs. Minnesota 13-20 points.

Statistically at this point it's about the O improving. Sure, there are always things they could do better, but the D held their own for the most part.
I don't expect the D to be as high as they are now by the end of the year, but hope in the top 25. The O needs to do a lot better than mid 80s total O and definitely better than 95 scoring O. That's far from what the offensive coaches were talking about preseason.

Also, Minny lost their best defensive player, Winfield, for the season in the last game.
