Lucy returning Sat

Poster on other board first reported her injury couple hours before game said he had friends in Cancun that said it was a pretty bad laceration, Not sure how long she will be out.
Fell off the raised court at practice and caught her knee on something.
She will probably miss tomorrow's game and then I think they have a week or so off.
After tomorrow, the next game is Sat Dec 7 vs AP #31 ranked Tennessee (5-0) in Brooklyn, NY
I’m guessing she has to keep it pretty straight or risk ripping it back open.
yeah you cant run on a freshly stitched knee. The skin in that area has to stretch a lot.
You hate for this to happen during the Cancun Challenge. I guess that's why it is called a challenge.
Stinks for Lucy. The silver lining is it forces the team to figure out the PG situation faster. Guyton suddenly a player.
Stitches at the knee mean knee no bendy. Sucks. I think she will likely miss tomorrow and important practices next week. Hopefully back for Tennessee or ISU, but they could easily lose all three without her.
From my experience, stitches will be removed in about 1 week. She'll take a few days to get back in rhythm. Only my guess.
I would have thought they would have put more stitches in than typical to help keep it tight and to help it better withstand competition.
What, was the court ringed with coral for ambience? Seems like a bad idea. Like tossing turkeys out of a helicopter.
To be honest, this was one of a few growing pain games that many of us saw coming this year to make us better the tournament... and we still won. Tomorrow will be another against better competition. Will be interesting to see how we play. I'm sure we won't turn the ball over as much.

I hope that she is a quick healer. She seems to be the happiest player in all of college hoops.

Have always wanted to just beat the ever-loving sh** out of anyone that created and/or approves the use of raised courts for basketball. Think Minnesota for example.

They said in the game, she practiced a little but could not go. I doubt if it’s much longer
