To have that long to prepare for Tennessee and have no idea how to break the press is a really bad look for this coaching staff.
I don't even think their press beat us. Too many unforced halfcourt turnovers and missed bunnies.

Looked horrible against the press, but I agree, lots of careless passing in the half court.
Iowa should be rated, Tennessee should have been coming into this game. Both are top 20 squads.
Happens when you turn the ball over like crazy.
The press was effective in speeding Iowa up, They just looked rushed far too often. Not the end of the world and this team still has a way to go to jell offensively.
Iowa men’s and women’s played opponents that had a full starting lineups of incoming transfers.

1 point game Ogrady had the ball in the paint.. got hacked and lost it. Tennessee went down and drained a 3. That was essentially game over right there. Sucks to lose a game because we couldn’t get shots in a ton of possessions.

They allowed them to speed them up. They also did a poor job of using screens to get open against the press. A lot of trying to get open by themselves. Needed to attack their press to get easy scores. They slow played it and played right into their hands.
Totally agree. Maybe I'm a little butthurt that Iowa lost but this kind of ball is why I don't really watch big ten basketball much anymore.
Yeah I dunno what it is about the womens game but they were laughing and smiling a bit much for that many turnovers.

Give Tennessee some credit for relentless defense. But just stupid to try a lob pass to the post on them.

Not really down to the wire they got beat by double digits there and looked like trash doing it.
Yeah, how they lost sucks ass, but didn't doesn't mean this team sucks ass. I still think they're a ranked team, or at least should be.

Watch good teams, you get ranked by beating good teams. Wait till they earn it.

Buying of teams makes me sick. I can’t believe this hasn’t been reeled in - yet. Making all college athletics tough to stomach.

To have a team that starts 4 seniors and a junior look so shook against a press is really dismaying.
It was a 1 point game with 2:26 left and a 4 point game with 1:35..
It was a close game the whole game until a couple late turnovers ballooned it.
Tell who "we" beat? My point was 3 games in ppl were bitching about not being ranked..let it play out..
