I have called Sioux City home for the last 14 years, and Garza is no Woodbury. I like Woodbury, but as a HS senior he averaged 18 points per game against opponents that rarely had a post player within 7 inches of his height.
Watch the video and Garza is putting up 23 points a game while going against teams with size in the post. I think we can acknowledge that the DC metro is going to provide a higher level of competition than Sioux City.
In HS, Woodbury was maybe 220 lbs. Garza is already 240ish.
I don't think that you can compare their jump shots, as I am not sure Woodbury took one in HS. But if you watch the video from the Peach Jam this summer, Garza has range to the 3 point line, and that was never true for Woodbury.
All I am trying to say is that Woodbury was not gifted on offense, while I think Garza is skilled offensively.
