I actually don’t hate b ball. Iowa has a freshman pg that I think can be pretty decent , but it drives me bat shit crazy when I’m forced to watch the end of a 20 pt blowout game and miss Spencer tech fall some guy in 45 seconds.
With technology these days they could at least give us a split screen. Given this is Spencer’s last year if I’m forced to miss any of his meets due to a damn basketball game I might just write my congressman!!!

Anyway, I took the “let him breathe,” comment as alluding to the fact that he’s young and undeveloped and we shouldn’t have unrealistic expectations based on one or two matches. It also follows that we shouldn’t be too hard on him for unexpected losses. Let him breathe….

Schriever seemed to do what he was supposed to do and imposed his will. Nice to see a major in the finals.
Hill, Griffith and Franklin maybe didn't put the fanbase on notice with their results. Lots of good wrestlers struggle out of the gates so no alarm bells, back to work.

I had to bounce a guy from a drum circle a couple years back. He was stealing shit and wanting to fight the 70 year old hippy who caught him.
I was guiding him away from behind by his backpack and he decided to try to elbow me in the face. That didn’t work out so well for him. I had control and his face ended up getting a bit scraped up. The cops were hauling him away the last I saw.
The next time I saw him, I braced myself for problems. But he approached me and apologized. The guy said he was having a mental breakdown and realized he must have really been out of line when a hippy started f***ing him up. Lol
I’m a carpenter….. and was a union vp for years….. to say I’ve dealt with some interesting characters is an understatement but your path sounds much more interesting overall 😂

lol I have sneaked sandwiches to guys I’ve earlier had to escort off the property for being banned for bad behavior. Mental illness is a bitch and we ban people from services for time periods, not current behavior.
you can tell it is still early in the season...following this thread is like a watching a skunk wander through a cut cornfield.... it might eventually get there but damn , watching the journey is painful
