Mack Brown

I'm surprised he didn't try his hand at the NFL. He didn't forget how to coach football, even though the college game passed him by.

listening to him on the Syracuse Louisville game, I'd rather listen to Beth Mowins or Pam Ward. Gawd he is like nails on a chalk board

Then he must be down right awful Because I always thought those two were nails on a chalkboard.

Actually, I think Mack does a good job of not showing his feelings (good or bad) for the teams he's talking about. More than I can say for DB M. May whose hatred for certain teams is off the charts and he really doesn't try to hide it much.

I've always likened his talking to that of Laura Bush (who bugs me too...and I'm not being political cuz you would think I'd like her).

One of the problems with the proliferation of televised college football games is that there are some really, REALLY bad announcers out there these days. Mike Belloti and the guy they had him paired with for the Oregon-Virginia game last night were absolutely dreadful.

Belotti is brutal. Worse than Mack Brown.
The depth chart for ESPN is very thin.

BTN seems to have solid announcing teams.
Where is Wayne Larivee? Why hasn't anyone hired Ron Franklin?
Yes, Matt Millen says things that don't make sense, but the chemistry between him, Kevin Kugler and Chuck Long is great.
