What you take from it is up to you.
Trump needs to be beaten at the ballot box. These measures that probably get tossed aren't the way to go IMO.

It is odd that a common sense comment like this gets ridiculed as partisan.Weird. It's a factual take.

So, now you're qualified to give legal opinions, Ryan?I read the legal affidavit this AG filed. If you read page 5, you will see it's only a political stunt on her behalf. This will take a few days to be overturned. The 5th page completely crapped on all laws.
Crazy Filthy Don has already been beaten many times, he loves to lose his shit.Weird. It's a factual take.

Just read it. You don't have to be a legal scholar to figure it out.So, now you're qualified to give legal opinions, Ryan?
What crimes do you feel should disqualify someone from running for office? If Trump "shot someone in the middle of 5th Ave", we know it wouldn't cost him any votes but should the voters decide his ultimate guilt?Weird. It's a factual take.

Can you share a link? I've not found the affidavit yet.I read the legal affidavit this AG filed. If you read page 5, you will see it's only a political stunt on her behalf. This will take a few days to be overturned. The 5th page completely crapped on all laws.
These:What crimes do you feel should disqualify someone from running for office? If Trump "shot someone in the middle of 5th Ave", we know it wouldn't cost him any votes but should the voters decide his ultimate guilt?
He'd be guilty of murder and a felony and would be in jail. What crimes do you feel should disqualify someone from running for office? If Trump "shot someone in the middle of 5th Ave", we know it wouldn't cost him any votes but should the voters decide his ultimate guilt?
"What if" what a dumb fuc.ker you are.How in theee f*ck can you be so sure about that? Why don’t you step outside your Fox News filled head and ask yourself just that. What if all that shit about Trump is true? It is….
Sounds fascistic. This is how I explained Colorado and Maine's decision to my wife:
Parent: "Son, it's dangerous to play in traffic. You could sustain serious harm, even death."
Child: "But I want to play in traffic! [proceeds to play in traffic despite all the warnings]."
Parent: "That's it. You're grounded. No more traffic for you."
No matter how many times we [the sane public] try to tell Trump supporters he's bad for them, they just won't listen. Now the states will start grounding them one at a time.
Trump is back on the ballot now. It was already tossed. He'd be guilty of murder and a felony and would be in jail.
Colorado decision most likely gets tossed.
Maine decision? Might be tossed by Maine SC and if not them probably the USSC.
So....if we end up with a Democrat Colorado SC getting it's decision tossed and the D Attorney General getting her decision tossed. What was gained by going this route?
Even the all D Colarado SC was split 4-3. It's not like there's a consensus on the 14th amendment angle.
Just seems like a questionable route to go IMO and overall might strengthen orange man in the end.
Being a convicted murderer wouldn't necessarily take him off the ballot, right? You still didn't answer the question about what crime should disqualify a candidate. He'd be guilty of murder and a felony and would be in jail.

It wasn't tossed. He's temporarily back on the ballot until the SC makes it's decision.Trump is back on the ballot now. It was already tossed.
Oh, dougie, I see your lack of self awareness is still strong as ever."What if" what a dumb fuc.ker you are.
True, who knows when that will be.It wasn't tossed. He's temporarily back on the ballot until the SC makes it's decision.
Republicans are not cheering for Russia. So stupid.Responding in kind to SA. Except mine has a large element of truth to it. Thanks for your input Mr. Both Sides.
Doubling down, I see.I’d say some parts of the party are.Russian friendly . Which includes the leader of the party. Similar to some parts of the Dem party dislike Israeli. There is a lot of parroting of Russian propaganda by influencers and Congressmen.
It's weird that a lawyer has such a low opinion of the law.It is odd that a common sense comment like this gets ridiculed as partisan.
I think they'll try to expedite the decision. First or second week of January is my bet.True, who knows when that will be.
No matter the outcome, there's going to be outrage.I think they'll try to expedite the decision. First or second week of January is my bet.
It was not. And you really want us to trust your reading of a legal document, Ryan?Trump is back on the ballot now. It was already tossed.
Several of them are filled with hubris, and simply don't care about their legitimacy. They are the law.If SCOTUS follows their own precedent in leaving States alone to manage their state-run election (primaries) processes and interpret their state constitutions, as the Court did with the Gerry-mandering cases and some others, I believe, then they should refuse to take on these cases as well.
A decision by SCOTUS to selectively apply their prior rationale and cherry pick certain cases to benefit Trump will only further undermine their legitimacy.
Of course. No matter the outcome, there's going to be outrage.
Are you ignorant?Doubling down, I see.
Thanks, it was already pointed out. I just heard it on the radio on a rock station. Sorry you couldn't keep up with switching accounts back and forth to catch someone else letting me know the exact same thing you said 15 min ago.It was not. And you really want us to trust your reading of a legal document, Ryan?
The decision was stayed until Jan 4th when it was announced.
The court stayed its decision until Jan. 4, or until the U.S. Supreme Court rules on the case. Colorado officials say the issue must be settled by Jan. 5, the deadline for the state to print its presidential primary ballots.

You don't pay attention, then.Republicans are not cheering for Russia. So stupid.
Which words on page 5 are a political stunt? I don't think we read the same document.I read the legal affidavit this AG filed. If you read page 5, you will see it's only a political stunt on her behalf. This will take a few days to be overturned. The 5th page completely crapped on all laws.
Because at some point, for whatever reason(s), many conservatives decided to start acting like liberals and “getting back” at mean, unhinged dorks on the left became more important than upholding actual conservative values and principles that make our republic actually great. Why would anyone who really is conservative support him?
Ryan, you're really accusing me of having multiple accounts? Now that's funny right there. Thanks, it was already pointed out. I just heard it on the radio on a rock station. Sorry you couldn't keep up with switching accounts back and forth to catch someone else letting me know the exact same thing you said 15 min ago.
What does any of that have to do with whether the Maine Attorney general should be tossing him from the ballot?Trump is a liar, adulterer, failed businessman, narcissist, non-religious, twice divorced, porn star paying, military disparager, poor people hating, authoritarian lover, etc., etc., etc. He accomplished little beyond tax cuts and SCOTUS noms which any other republican would have done. Outside of that he caused chaos, broke laws, golfed, made fun of those who he didn’t like and constantly played the role of victim which is a big sign of weakness. Yet, a majority of conservatives rally around him and support him still. I just don’t get it. Why would anyone who really is conservative support him?
You accused me. Just repaying the favor Scott.Ryan, you're really accusing me of having multiple accounts? Now that's funny right there.
I’m all for this if it means Trump won’t be the nominee but why not wait until you know Trump is convicted of a crime before removing him from a ballot? Certainly the left can see the argument from the other side right that this all politically motivated? There are many leftist commentators arguing the same point.
Sure would help the argument for using it.The 14th amendment, section 3 does not require committing a crime in order to be removed.
