#1 used to be Dale Jones. He either switched numbers or is not on the roster.
Excited for Dailey. Iowa hasn't had a player like him for awile

Actually, they've had tons of players like him. Players who have never played a minute of college basketball and are hyped beyond belief.

I hope he's a good one, too. He appears impressive in the videos I've seen.
I think that is why he said for a while

Ithink that is why he said for awhile. I also hope he is right... Thanks...

Well, I would sure rather have people excited about players instead of dumping on them before they see the floor.

They wanted to take advantage of the Hawkeye consumer. Switching out Jones' number will bring plenty of new sales! ;)

Dailey is in my top 2 or 3 to watch this summer. Interested in those ball handling skills. I am hoping they are sneaky good... Moss is probably tops on the list. Pemsl is up there too. Curiously enough, the ball handling of all 3 is my main interest.

I don't know much about him so I'm curious what this means.

Guess maybe Jones goes back to #23 now that it may be available?

I for one think Dailey will be really really good. Lefty who can shoot it & drive and dish. Plays right into Fran's system. And seems to do it naturally!! Go Hawks!!!

Without revealing your source....would you call that good, inside info?
No not much of a source. A Student who has supposedly talked to the players. I take it with a grain of salt but what the heck it could be true. I asked about Cook and he says he didn't hear anything about Cook but would ask.

He does have some fairly impressive highlights. He's got to feel confident of getting PT especially if he's a PG. That spot is wide open. MD has about as good a shot as anyone at that position.

I sure hope Maishe doesn't redshirt. I think Hawks will need all the help they can get in the backcourt.

As for PG, I don't see that as his immediate role. Although a good passer, his ballhandling is supposedly still developing.

Also I think CW is ready for the PG role. I expect a learning curve, but think he will grade high in the end.

Looking forward to Maishe though. I think he has combo guard potential down the road, although McC will also be coming in and prob playing a lot of PG. It will be great to have those 3 long combo guards as well as Moss.

When is the last time an Iowa player got a favorable hardship ruling in any sport. JESS?
