Maryland (Future opponent) Leads vs #23 Texas; Game is on FS1

It’s 14-7 in the 1st. The game has barely started so it’s much much too early to be thinking of a Maryland win.
I'm watching. Texas is still terrible. The Longhorn offense is only slightly less terrible than the Longhorn defense.

As always. Maryland went up and down the field on them last year as well.....
The game is being played in the Redskins' stadium rather than on Maryland's campus.
Also, there are a lot of people somewhat disgusted with what has happened over the last few months. Both students and fans. My daughter is a senior there and said a lot of people aren't going as kind of a protest against what has happened, especially the young man's death. When you add that to the fact that there is now an interim coach because the real coach is in "administrative leave" limbo, not much to be excited about.
Everything about Texas is overrated. Especially Austin and the Texas campus!
Not so sure about that. Austin itself is overrated because it has gotten too big over the last 20 years, but UT's campus is pretty nice. It's flooded with eye candy. It's like Arizona State but less slutty. And when I lived in Austin, the bars just off campus were the best for picking up grad student chicks. Trudy's Texas Star was always a great go to spot.
The last three years it doesn’t matter what conference we would have been in, we sucked...
I like being in the BIG much more upside, Devaney would have liked it too.
I went to Iowa and work just off campus in Austin and I think Iowa’s campus is 10x nicer than UTs campus. It’s really not even close.
been here 28 yrs. UT is alright. Big bucks. A huge city within a city. If this coach loses this today he is on the hot seat for sure. These people here expect 10 wins and shot at NC game every year or else
IDK about the campus, but the only negatives I've heard about Austin as a city is how expensive it is to buy a home there now. Even people who don't like the hippies seem to like Austin as a small city (not so small now I guess).
I will say this is more about Iowa’s campus being underrated than it is UTs is overrated. Both UT and A&M campuses are OK, but I think Baylor’s is the nicest in Texas.

Maryland starting to bury the Longhorns now. It’ll be interesting to see if they gather themselves and start to execute or will they fold and shrink like they have the last few seasons. Fans have little patience in Austin.

Maryland has some talent. I wish we played these guys a couple weeks later than we do (after they've been softened up by OSU/MSU/PSU/UM).
Half the problem is the Head Coach gets too much outside information from boosters, regents and AD and so on and so on..
