Not so sure about that. Austin itself is overrated because it has gotten too big over the last 20 years, but UT's campus is pretty nice. It's flooded with eye candy. It's like Arizona State but less slutty. And when I lived in Austin, the bars just off campus were the best for picking up grad student chicks. Trudy's Texas Star was always a great go to spot.

I lived and worked in downtown Austin for 2 years until I got fed up and moved away in May. Horrible overcrowded, overpriced town full of homeless people begging everywhere. The campus is just in the middle of downtown with not much to do and there is no more eye candy there than anywhere else. The worst place i've ever been.

in the 1990's it was bettter. The local politicians are idiots and let the homeless be. They don't mess with them. In fact homeless in other cities catch wind of it and come here
