Before I open up past threads and expose how often you predict doom and gloom and are wrong. o_O I have a few questions.

Is this some kind of superstitious ritual where you think if you are negative it will cause positive results?
Are you looking for some positive replies to sooth your angst?
We're you dropped on your head or did you drink a lot of water in Flint?

Or is there some other reason besides just being a troll that you started this thread?

He admitted at the end of football season that when the team kept winning, he just kept going with it since it seemed to be a good luck charm. It's an act more than anything.

I think Iowa is close enough to the end now to not have a letdown. The goal of being conference champions will keep them focused. If they lose another game the rest of the season, it will be tonight. No other team on their schedule is good enough to beat Iowa when Iowa plays even just "average", with the possible exception of when Indiana comes to Iowa City, but I don't see Indiana winning that game. Especially if Iowa loses tonight.

The OP is delusional who actually thinks that by being doom and gloom helps Iowa win.

It became sort of funny on the football board once we all realized it was a running joke, including the OP... but it clearly has no bearing on the games or else we'd be 15-0 or 14-1 in football.

I would not be surprised if Maryland ran the table, they are the most talented team in the Big. I think we will lose one more. I'd be thrilled to play Maryland in the BTC game, I like our chances.

Thanks! As we can see it turns out the poster is just being superstitious. :) I'm not ashamed to say I'm happy I asked for clarification before attacking this time. Maybe they'll let me out once in awhile again. I could sure use some more of that potted meat!

I'll admit I'm cautious when it comes to expectations for a game like tonite....been witnessed to way too many disappointments. I'm just excited that we finally have a coach & regardless of what happens tonite Iowa BB is back to where it belongs. It is not a matter of if ..its the fact that we can.

Go Hawks ... prove the pundits wrong.

There is always someone who does his level best to ruin it for everyone. I can't stand to be around people like that.

There are a few teams on Maryland's schedule that may disagree. Granted some games have more arguments than others.

I don't see Maryland ending with a record worse than 15-3 though... which means Iowa can lose only one more game if we want to be the outright champion and #1 seed in the B1G. Personally, I'm not nearly as concerned with that as I am with making the most of this team in the NCAA tourney. As we saw last year with Iowa State and as we experienced with our own Hawkeyes in 2006, *ANYTHING* can happen in the tournament.

And an idiot. About 50/50. He is on ignore from me now. I am done with him as he wont even attempt to have a normal dialog. Waste of space no more!

It's looking like this thread is going to work with Wisconsin winning late at Maryland. Well done.

"Maryland won't lose another game this season"

Until tonight.....ha, nice call - keep it up!

Sweet. Can we have the OP post more clairvoyant predictions for our other competitors at the top of the B1G?

LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL!!!!!!!

Watch OP now spin this into "Bucky will run us out of Carver and we won't win another game." Just like Geico--it's what he does...

Yeah, chill out people. That's what he's doing, and it seems to be working.

Wisky looked terrible in practice. Everyone was complaining about the UA balls.

That was a bad omen for Maryland. Everyone knows that if your opponent only sucks during the game if they have a good week of practice beforehand.
