Michigan could have a pretty salty lineup if he comes back. They talked about it on flo radio live and supposedly Bormet all but confirmed he is coming back.
125 Suriano
133 Ragusin
141 Micic
149 Storr
157 Lewan
165 Amine
174 Massa
184 Amine
197 Brucki
Hwt Parris

Storr might be their worst starter, but it’s worth noting that he hurt his knee at CKLV and it didn’t look particularly good. Wonder who their backup is if he misses significant time.

Hasn't this always been the plan? He's not currently on the roster, but maybe he's not there to "play school" anymore, ala Nick Suriano.

Something tells me they are not in the least bit worried about how they match up vs. Iowa in a dual this season . . .

Different animal? He just got pinned by a nobody a few weeks ago lol

How's Jan 21st looking for you? In other words, how do PSU/MI match-up?
Should be a pretty balanced contest. Could go either way. I’m guessing it will hinge on 141.

But I’m most eager to see Kerk vs. Parris.

Ragusin will give Disanto a match! Heavyweight favors Michigan

Ragusin had a good CK tournament, he wrestles smart and he can also be dirty so I don’t love the match up, but AD will be bringing heat that will wear down the best.
And pump the brakes on Heavy Big Tone will be ready for Parris .
ADS is my second favorite wrestler to watch on this hawk team but he still has not shown a reliable and consistent attack other than his dump series. He attempts to shoot singles to the left leg but often times those turn into stalemates. My point, is that unless ADS starts finishing those he’s going to have a tough time taking the next step. A Ragusin matchup will be a good test.

I love that Cass has taken the steps necessary to compete with these slimmed down more athletic heavys. I’m hoping this will lead to a more varied attack and help his scrambling. I didn’t get to watch him at World Juniors but it sounds like the work paid off. Here’s hoping he can close the gap on parris and get closer to Gable.

Agree with the ADS points, He is getting to the right leg and just cannot finish. I’m sure they are working hard at it but some guys have the ability to be multidimensional and some don’t.
The biggest problem I see is they are slowing him down more and his right hand is still wrapped this year so his strength may not be there in his dominant hand.

He did have surgery shortly following NCAA’s last year. I’m sure he’s rehabbed it since, so unless he’s re-injured (given his style that’s not hard to imagine) I would bet the right hand wrap is mostly precautionary. I hope so anyway.

I’m sure they’ve been working on cleaning up his single leg finishes and he does seem more eager and willing to go to that attack. If he can improve a little more, that combined with his dump and pace make him very formidable and I’d say championship caliber. We need to continue to see improvement on that finish though. 5 years into college wrestling we might be asking for to much though.

Probably, but if you wanna claim he is a new animal you'd better be prepared for a dose of reality (and that's that Cass got pinned by a nobody who hit a fat man's roll)
Serious question , have you wrestled any level above Jr HS?
Cass was manhandling that guy when he got over confident and out of position then another very good D1 wrestler capitalized on it.
The next 10 out 10 matches they meet Big Tone majors that guy or better. And if you don’t agree with that reality then we know the answer to my first question!

He also won a world title a few weeks ago. dipshit
I'm aware of his u23 title lol
Did you watch the match? Lol
He got caught, so did Spencer. Guess that was it for Spencer, just not who we thought he was.
Lol
Literally everyone acknowledged spencer wasn't 100% or wrestling like himself that year. They weren't making claims that he was a "new man" while it was going on.

So much softness for a lone comment lol

If you're talking about next season, you are one heck of an optimist.

Lee needs to be healthy for this match. Not sure who goes 49 with Storr getting hurt!
