He's really struggled throwing strikes. As soon as Darvish is back and ready to pitch, Mazur will return to AAA.
Much harder to induce hitters to chase pitches outside the zone at the big league level.
For a guy that's struggled pitching in the zone, he has been gifted strikes tonight. Multiple strike calls well outside the zone. One on a 3-1 count with 2 on.
