Meanwhile Franklin Graham with some pitiful thoughts

Franklin Graham inherited the family business with no
credentials to deserve it. He is not a Bible scholar or
theologian who can write award winning books. Instead
he has become a fund raiser who mixes religion and politics.
Without his last name, Franklin would be a cashier at
Walmart.

Sounds like someone else we all know.

Are all on the religious right traitors to our country who hate democracy and do not believe in our constitution? They are the worst thing that ever happened to Christianity, and many of them are certainly not people whom Christ would consider righteous.
I guess if you are going to criticize the Christian religious right, you should probably understand Christianity 101.

Christ did not consider anyone righteous enough. All, everyone, todos los humanos have sinned.

Romans 3:10

He is the worst. I wasn’t a fan of his dad, but he’s gotta be rolling over in his grave for the clown his son turned into.

Are you the Pastor who doesn't believe Hell is real?

Didn't Jesus talked about Hell many times in the Gospel of Matthew.

He said in Matthew 10:28:

"Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell."

What do you think Jesus meant by this and dozens of other references to Hell?

Was He just kidding or misinterpreted?

Just curious.

Someone told Saint Padre Pio that they didn't believe in Hell.

He responded: "you will believe when you get there."

Another dimension, I think.
You think?

Well, it seems like you'd wanna know since your motivation for this whole belief system is to avoid a place that you're really not sure of its location. And, the details of this place is also sketchy, but you're sure it must be horrible, so you convince yourself it's better to be safe than sorry. That doesn't sound like divination. That sounds more like superstition.

I'm simply heeding the warning of Jesus.

In that passage, Jesus is talking about Gehenna--a literal place where people were sacrificing children as burnt offerings.

Hell as we commonly think of it originated with the Greeks. It eventually seeped into Christian theology as Christianity became more paganized and Gentile. It was never a Jewish idea.

Jesus was comparing Hell to Gehenna. He taught in metaphors.

Jesus talked about hell dozens of times as a literal place of torment. So does Scripture.

Use more links from blatantly-biased sources that need Hell to exist to maintain the status quo!
