I’ve always taken it that fans of other schools who post on our site have so little going on their own team’s site that they come here because we are far more interesting than the ennui they suffer from on their own site I don’t see it as a bother, rather I take it as a compliment to us. So, thank you for the extra traffic. It only makes our site stronger, financially and otherwise.

Well, for what it’s worth most of the ISU fans that post here routinely are decent cats @Lone Clone comes to mind! Though he has been around a long time and I would suspect he is just reasonable in general at his age.

We have some pretty insecure Nebraska fans come here, but they’re not all like this guy… This guy is jaded like none I’ve seen before. 3 different screen names all attempting to be disparaging to Iowa & any first year psychology student can see his insecurity.

And he’s either stupid or a major hypocrite because he says things like you shouldn’t say “never, and ever” or any thing definitive at all and he pretty much broadly, says every Iowa fan is bad!

As you have probably seen me say, football and basketball get more and more meaningless to me all the time.

Most of the reason I come to this board is for basic recruiting and practice news and after that, it’s all about the conversation & the humor & the Witt of which he has Nil!

You haven’t understood one thing I’ve posted. The fact is, Iowa fans are always triggered by anything Nebraska football. The fact that most Iowa fans need to try and delegitimize all of the great accomplishments of Nebraska football says a lot about Iowa fans. The problem starts with Iowa fans and ends with Iowa fans. You would never find a Nebraska fan trying to delegitimize Iowa football’s modest accomplishments.

I don’t know how Iowa fans “delegitimize” the great history of Nebraska football? I’m in my late 50’s and do recall those teams, but that was still a long time ago. I also recall how the football landscape at that time (prop 48, steroid use, Coach Tom O looking the other way on some player issues, etc) definitely benefited your huskers. Anyway, I prefer (along with most fans) to live in the here and now.

More importantly, they wouldn’t be capable of being delegitimized, had they not moved to the Big 10 and fell off the map. He’s not bright, we all have fans like that. I doubt many Nebbie fans are very proud of him !

All 5 of Nebraska’s NCs are legit and Nebraska would have won them had they been in the bigten as well (maybe, maybe not, but my opinion is as valid as yours since we’ll never know). When you see the talent Iowa receives, which is significantly lower than teams like Georgia, Alabama, and Ohio State, but they continually pump out NFL ready talent, again, again, and again, there's no denying that the culture and way we prepare these young men for the next level is different than anywhere else in the country. Whether you're uneducated, worthless, lying ass likes it or not. There's no program out there that does more with less than we do. In fact, I dare you to name one.

The numbers don't lie, no matter how you want to twist it. Iowa is different; we know it, you know it, and the country knows it. There isn't an Iowa fan out there that claims we're perfect, and we have plenty to improve on, but Kirk teaches class, integrity, and hard work to these guys, and that's why they make it to the NFL.
