Not that I disagree but would love to know how many NBA games you watch a week. Over/under 0.5? The only people who give a shit about the MJ/LeBron argument are people who stopped watching the NBA at the turn of the century.

maybe a half a week. The matchups just don't seem as compelling to me as they used to. Let's be honest as well, you never know who will be playing in the NBA anymore on any given night. Yes I'm an old guy that thinks you shouldn't be able to take 4 steps to shoot and it be considered a legit move. It's really hard to watch guys like james harden play.
For me, Jordan was/is as athletically gifted as just about anyone played/playing. I'm not referring to just size strength but being able to use it as well. I think that he is knocked for this by people that think humans have only gotten to be better athletically since they started watching.
The single thing that has always differentiated MJ from everyone else for me was competitiveness. Larry Bird, Tiger, Brady, Ripken. Not many in this stratosphere and I think MJ surpasses them all, I also think it's part of what made him a degenerate gambler off the court as well.

it depends a lot on who you actually saw play.
in 50 years there will be another GOAT because everybody gravitates towards performances they witnessed. Also does tv and media no good to say no matter what you are seeing it will never live up to the past.
Jordan will always be the GOAT to me but it’s silly to think somebody born now will say that when they are an adult.
