I’ve received info that the game will be moved to 2/15 (originally 2/17) to make room for the OSU matchup.

Would have a Monday Home Nebbie, Wed Home UM, Fri Away @OSU. I think the Wed game would be OK, but the Friday game would be really tough, which @OSU already is. Not a lot of alternatives.
Heard anything about UM making up games with Illannoy and MSU, both in Ann Arbor I think? Those are very important games for the B1G standings at the top.

Yeah they’ve really drug their feet on those. If one team has to make up games they all should.

Absolutely. Needs to be equity across the entire league. Either make up all games or make all the games not played as no contest.
I hope you are correct. I live 225 miles from Iowa City and not easy to make home games. February 17 is a date I made work.
Oops. You are right. I misread the schedule. I think moving the game to Tuesday evening would make more sense, so two days off before @OSU Friday. That would also work for UM, which plays the prior Sat.
This sounds like the @Indiana game being rescheduled after problem s in their arena. We had games strung together like this and it didn't go well.
On paper at least I think this has less travel at least. If I remember right, what sucked about the Indiana situation is that we had multiple road games involved.
Iowa has not changed date on ticket website or it has not been changed on cbs schedules.
Depends. If you are playing well as a team at the time, it can be beneficial to have a quick stretch of games.
It would be REALLY helpful to just blitz Nebraska on Sunday so we can give additional rest to the starters. I especially want to see Ogundele get minutes - he’ll be needed against Hunter Dickinson.
The switch to Tuesday was never "official." The game is Thursday as originally scheduled. Confirmed this with Athletics Ticket Office today.
I dont see a date thats gonna work for either team w/o shuffleling games around and all parties have to agree. Logistical nightmare with only 3 weeks remaining. Im guessing we dont get the game played. Ohio st plays 4 games the final week of the season with Nebraska resceduled for March 1st so it wont be that week!
You’re right. Looks like it was initially reported as moved, and several sites even adjusted the schedule, but looks like it’s now staying out on the 17th for now.
Yet, awesome for us fans during the cold and misery of February.
This is starting to annoy me. I “think” the Michigan game is still on the 17th and Ohio state hasn’t been rescheduled yet. Or at least, it hasn’t been updated on hawkeyesports.com, espn, etc.
