Who have they played? I have no idea how good they and State Penn sucks that's the hardest team they have played.

Well, we lost to an FCS team, so there's that........
Notre Dame is now 1-3, so I'm not that impressed to be honest. They got beat by a team that Wiscy just demolished.
Well...they whipped Colorado, who is beating Oregon in Eugene, for starters. Destroyed Central FL, who went 2OT against Maryland. Averaging 50+ points a game. I'd say they are formidable

I'm not seeing it this year my friend, sorry. The defense is seriously suspect, despite even having pretty good line play. The weaknesses are glaring and Michigan can exploit the hell out of them. If Rutgers can run all over us, so can Michigan. Their defense is elite and Wiscy may be the only team in the B1G that can match them there.
The problems we've seen in these past two games isn't some fluke. We're being exposed and it's a problem.
Yup, Harbaugh has turned them into a monster already. We got out muscled by NDSU. Michigan will flat out beat Iowas butt this year.
We just played terrible and thought we could just show up and win.
Hawks will be fine. We're not going undefeated the rest of the year but 8-9 wins is a good season and we be enough to retain our awesome recruiting class.

I agree that Michigan will probably win if we played them next week but again don't know how good they are they have played so far nobody.
But we can beat them and if we improve a lot by the Michigan game and
Michigan isn't as good playing better teams then the game could be a toss up.

Colorado had Michigan on the ropes until their starting QB went down with a recurrence of the Lis Franc (sp?) injury in his foot.
I'll just wait for the games to be played until I get the ol' rubber stamp out.

Hey you know Iowa is not the favorite anymore. Good maybe they'll start playing with a chip on their shoulder. I think as this season plays out Iowa we'll get it all together. It's hard to say how good everybody else is in the league, too many people are making other teams out to be great, when the fact is nobody really knows for sure. Everybody thought Michigan state was great because of what they did to Notre Dame, now it looks like maybe Notre Dame was not that good. Everybody wants to make Wisconsin out to be great because they beat LSU and now Michigan State , when the badgers look everything but world-beaters in squeaking out a victory against Georgia State. Michigan looks great, but I would say their opposition hasn't been the greatest . Colorado was decent and nobody knows about Penn State. The only thing for certain in the Big Ten is that Ohio state is really good. That's the only thing anybody knows for sure.

Michigan does appear to be very good on both sides of the ball. That being said, there are two important things to consider.
1. Applying the transitive property in college football, especially with a small sample size, is iffy at best.
2. November is a long time from now. There is plenty of time for improvement (or regression) from either team, and it's likely that there will be at least a couple key injuries on each roster by that time.

If you've watched any amount of football you can tell that michigan is a good to really good football team this year. Nope, they haven't played the New England Patriots but the way they are beating teams tells me that Iowa will struggle against them from a depth and speed standpoint.. I will say this thou, just because Michigan shows up don't mean they will beat Iowa, just look at what NDSU did to us!
