He was literally toying with that guy at the end. Avoiding the take down that would get the tech fall and looking for the throw to the back for a pin haha.

Think the Alex is just as strong as Imar with just as big a gas tank. He's just too raw and not near as savvy. Alex can get in on anyone, but he has trouble when guys scramble.

Let's not overreact too much with a major loss to IMAR. He's on his way to being an all time great college wrestler. With that said, keep the shirt on and hope we get more from Gunther.

Not underhook that got him, it was the elbow pass to ankle that got him. Scored 4 of his takedowns like that. Don't pull his shirt, let him develop and lift

I thought it looked like a good learning experience, too. It also helps to feel the strength of a legit 165 wrestler. It was interesting to me that Alex was able to seal off and get out from the bottom. That, obviously, can be a big issue for many making the transition from high school to college. It looked to me like there was some stuff that Alex could clean up to make it a bit more interesting next time.

Bring on his next match. I like this kid. He is going to be a good one.
