True, Glosser's matches this year have all been at 149. Maybe too much holiday festivities (or the cut was too hard).
I personally think SSJ is a waste of one of our 15 spots. I feel he's more of a "legacy bid"
If he weighs ~220 and starts cutting immediately after Midlands then he would be down to 197 at the end of February. The only competitions remaining at that point are B1Gs and NCAAs.
Maybe he's a role model on/off the mat and TnT are rewarding his hard work.

Don't the extra guys have to pay their way? If, so why couldn't anyone who wanted to compete pay his way?
Or Bowman. He only lost 3-1 to Wilcke and has scored more bonus points than him. I wish he'd get a shot because I'm not a fan of Wilcke, at least not at 197. At the very least 197 is a competition weight. Kem isn't competing with anyone for the spot. But as was pointed out to me earlier in thread maybe he's being rewarded for a good attitude and leadership.
Yes, but I remember someone winning there who had to pay his own way there (or something) and also a freshman who is redshirting--, how could he be listed on the official roster of entries?
