Midlands will be a good test

Has anyone heard how many guys we are allowed to send to the Midlands this year and who it might possibly be?? I'm assuming between the starting lineup and the guys at 41 & 65 we have 13 spots filled. Was last year 16, I can't remember? It would be interesting to see what Turk, Kemerer, Wilcke & Holloway could do there but if the number is 16, one of them stays home.

It's an open isn't it? I'm sure they can all go just as redshirts

Did a quick run through of last years brackets and it looks like we were allowed to send 17. It would be nice if we got at least that many again this year because I'd also like to see St. John compete there. Not that he's a better option then Cooper but along with the 4 true freshmen I listed, he is one that I would be interested to see how he does at that level of competition.

I'm not sure Tomy wants to break their little frosh spirits by sending them out against tough compitition like they did with that poor Tsirtsis kid back in the day. I hear he's still in therapy over that time he almost knocked off the ranked kid from ISU as a frosh but lost in the end.....
