Miller Moss to Iowa? The Transfer Portal window opens on Dec 9 for 20 days. "You're gonna have a lot of million-dollar Quarterbacks."

Pass on Kohl. He’s as big of a wildcard as you can find in the portal.
Agreed. I think at this point Iowa can’t lose on another QB in portal. If a guy like miller moss comes in and regresses compared to what he did at USC, you lose any chance at getting a future star at QB… now if you get a guy like Kaidon Slaton and they bust it’s less concerning. I’d rather go that route personally.

Are you talking about Kaidon Salter?

If so, has there been any rumors linking Kaidon to Iowa?

Kaidon started at Tennessee & is now transferring out of Liberty

Mobil meaning?

Not option per se, but not afraid to pull the ball down or away from the back and run it. Avoid sacks, make positives out of near sack situations. Frustrate the defense and keep our defense off the field.
Basically what 80-90% of the rest of college football teams have had the position for the past two decades would suffice. As far as mobility at the position.

I am sure UIowa will be “active”…Kirk is no dummy but Kirk has standards that must be met, too. And those standards are probably more important to him and his team than the players ability on the football field.

I hope we can get more than a one year rental.

But maybe the incoming QB (Jimmy Sullivan) is the future?

We have that in Marco. Just need to develop him and get him snaps. Has 3 years left. Without upgrading OL, don’t matter what high price skill player we have. All starts up front for run and pass. How good could have Young looked playing behind one of our better lines ?

I dont' completely disagree, but he didn't show much with his arm.

I think everyone would rather get a “recruit” starter than a hired gun. Sometimes I think fans allow their focus to be diverted from the goal. But the need for a dependable QB at UIowa is painfully obvious. It’s been (at least) 5 years since “dependable” and that is all on Kirk.

An “artful dodger” then…a Brad Banks type. Banks was 10 years ahead of his time and a real asset.

It will be interesting to see who's still left from this season's QB room

He's got turnover issues that need cleaned up

And if Sully is the QB for next year, why is Iowa looking at Miller Moss (who only has 1 year left, too)?
Maybe, he was 6:2 ratio at NW, and 2:2 in extremely limited time at Iowa this year. Depth really is a huge issue, and upgrading would be great.

I hope Marco's time in the program and physical attributes can put him toward the front of the line. Stratton did a great job of keeping the ball safe but he seems a beat late on his throws. Like he sees the receiver and takes a beat to process any defenders endangering the throw and by the time the ball is delivered the receiver is swarmed and has no chance to run after the catch. Gonna be interesting to see Lester's evaluations now that he isn't pressed for time. The Sully2.0 committed before he was hired.
